Kerala: Four arrested for abducting girl
The accused are also having cases pending against them in the Thadiyittaparambu police station.
KOCHI: The Aluva rural police on Sunday has taken into custody four persons in connection with abducting a girl studying in ninth standard.
The police identified the accused as Kaials, son of Thettathmolathu Veetil Ayyappan, Ahzaruddin, son of Puthukkadan Veetil Azeez, Akhil son of Kalapparambil Veetil Antony and Deepu son of Pulikkal Veetil Dharmajan. All the accused belongs to South Vazhakkulam.
The relatives of the girl have filed a complaint before the police after the girl was missing from the home. The special squad of the Aluva police questioning the members of the gang moving in a suspicious manner in Aluva Town helped the cops to nab the culprits.
According to the police Kailas, the first accused in the case, enticed the girl to elope with him by pretending that he is in love with her. The girl then left the home with Kailas before police nabbed the gang.
The accused are also having cases pending against them in the Thadiyittaparambu police station. A local court remanded the accused in judicial custody after police produced them in the court.
