Hyderabad: Transport minister P. Mahender Reddy on Tuesday warned critics of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, especially the Congress, that the TRS will not keep quiet if they indulged in loose talk.

“What did the Congress do in 50 years? KCR kept his promises yet Congress men are criticising him day and night and levelling false allegations,” he warned.
TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar had on Monday issued a warning to those spreading falsehood against the CM on social media.

Mr Mahender Reddy alleged Congress leaders were indulging in double talk and double standards. “While one Congress leader demands irrigation facilities to farmers and drinking water to people, another one moves court to stall projects. Is it not deliberate attempt to defame the government,” he asked.

KCR lacks sincerity, says VHR
Former MP V. Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday accused Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of appeasing the BC communities with an eye on the 2019 elections. He said that the CM lacked sincerity in dealing with the issues concerning the BCs.

Addressing reporters here, Mr Rao asked the CM how he could justify announcing special schemes and funds to select BCs. He said as if the CM was really sincere in his efforts to help BC communities, he should do something for them on par with other forward communities.
