Bandaru Dattatreya’s name missing in BJP’s list
Former minister D.K. Aruna joined the BJP from the Congress two days ago was fielded from Mahbubnagar.
Hyderabad: The BJP high command on Thursday dropped former Union minister and MP Bandaru Dattatreya in the first list of candidates from Telangana for the general elections. Of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the BJP announced candidates for 10.
Mr Dattatreya represents Secunderabad, from where TS BJP former president G. Kishan Reddy, who had lost from Amberpet in the state elections, will contest.
Senior leader and MLC N. Ramachandra Rao was allotted the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha ticket; he had lost the election for the Malkajgiri Assembly seat last year.

The BJP still have to announce candidates for seven Lok Sabha seats including Khammam. It is trying to woo sitting MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy who was a denied ticket by the TRS.
