Chowkidar letting thieves loot and escape: Asaduddin Owaisi
Owaisi said the Congress was losing its base and had become weak because of its defective policies.
Hyderabad: MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday said that though Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed to be a chowkidar, it was in his tenure that Swami Aseemanand and other terror accused were acquitted and defaulters like Nirav Modi fled the country.
Mr Owaisi said the nation did not need a chowkidar, but a Prime Minister who has ability to serve the country. “Modi once claimed that he was a tea vendor, faqeer and later Ganga ka beta. He claimed that he is an OBC and now claims that he is a chowkidar (watchman).
Mr Owaisi said Mr Modi came to power, promising to create two crore jobs in a year, but failed to do so. He demonetised currency notes and mocked the troubles of poor people who suffered. He asked what kind of chowkidar was Mr Modi that 50 kg of RDX reached Pulwama and more than 40 CRPF personnel were killed in the terror attack. “This country needs an honest Prime Minister,” he said and also criticised the PL for adopting “cradle diplomacy” with China who protects Masood Azhar.
Mr Owaisi said the Congress was losing its base and had become weak because of its defective policies. “The house of the Congress is now completely empty. Now every Congress leader wants to join the TRS,” he said, adding that many leaders were calling him to help them join the TRS.
Mr Owaisi said he will be the candidate of the AIMIM from Hyderabad. “Filing of nominations by Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi is part of the backup plan,” he said.
