Seer berates TTD brass, deletes video, says sorry
On Sunday, however, he deleted the video from all social media platforms and unconditionally apologised for using harsh language.
Tirupati: Kamalananda Bharati Swamiji, founder of the Hindu Devalaya Parirakshana Samiti, suffered an embarrassment and was forced to delete a video from social media platforms which shows him losing his cool with TTD officials over the gold controversy.
In the video which went viral on Saturday night, he is seen accusing TTD executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal and joint Executive officer K.S. Srinivasa Raju of indulging in corruption to pay off politicians.
Unaware that the gold had been returned to the TTD, he released the video which shows him demanding the sacking of the officials.
On Sunday, however, he deleted the video from all social media platforms and unconditionally apologised for using harsh language. He said he was unaware of the procedures of the TTD, and had deleted the video within 10 minutes. It went viral within that time, he said.
