Nara Lokesh seeks coordination
Mr Lokesh directed the officials to take necessary measures in flood-prone areas anticipating heavy rains in July.
Vijayawada: Panchayat raj and rural development minister N. Lokesh conducted a meeting to discuss about the development issues and measures to be taken in development activities and issues in Vijayawada parliamentary constituency. He discussed about weaker sections housing, road-widening, pensions, government hospitals’ development, dumping yard and funds for the developmental activities.
MP Kesineni Nani, collector Lakshmi Kanth-am, Vijayawada Munici-pal Corporation commissioner J. Nivas, principal secretary Karikal Valaven and MLAs of Vijayawada parliamentary constituency participated in the meeting. While speaking at the meeting, Mr Lokesh directed the officials to take necessary measures in flood-prone areas anticipating heavy rains in July. He also directed to clean the drainages in the constituency frequently and move the sewage dumps early. Mr Lokesh also directed the public representatives and officials to address the grievances sought coordination among the various departments.
