Traders get chance to log in to GST

Hyderabad: The Centre and the state government have stepped up efforts to ensure the rollout of GST from July 1. The registration window for traders who failed to register for GST will open again on June 25. About 15 per cent traders have to still register.

A seminar on compliance procedures under GST was held on Wednesday, which was conducted by the  Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Mr A.R.S. Kumar, commissioner of customs, central excise and service tax, Hyderabad-IV commissionerate,  Ms Revathi Rohini,  additional commissioner of commercial taxes, Mr Ravindra Modi, president, FTAPCCI, attended. Mr Kumar said the department had conducted several programmes to create  awareness on GST among traders and public.
