Telangana: Men being shunned over Gurukul notification
After the court orders were out the male candidates were bit relieved but there is still confusion.
Hyderabad: With confusion among candidates and coaching centres about Gurukul notifications, institutes providing coaching for Gurukul examinations are not ready to enroll male candidates as in earlier nine notifications posts, most of the openings were reserved for females.
Though there are chances that male candidates would be taken for lecturer’s posts in government residential degree colleges in Telangana state after the HC court stay on the examinations, still the coaching centres are reluctant.
The court said on Monday that according to the GO providing absolute reservations to women in the respondent institutions for all the posts violates article 14 and 16 of the constitution of India, therefore there shall be interim stay as prayed for. After the court orders were out the male candidates were bit relieved but there is still confusion.
