Modi Govt's Focus on Job Creation: Kishan

Hyderabad: The Centre, in addition to taking measures to step up recruitment in various Central departments and undertakings, was also creating new job opportunities in the private sector by focusing on new investments and infrastructure development, Union minister and newly-appointed state BJP chief G. Kishan Reddy said on Saturday.

Calling on the youth to “seize every opportunity to achieve their dreams and work sincerely,” Kishan Reddy said the Centre has given priority to the recruitment process by making it faster, transparent and without bias.

He was speaking at the Rozgar Mela at Rail Kalarang in Secunderabad, where he handed over appointment letters to 176 youth who jobs in various Central government departments and undertakings, including State Bank of India, Geological Survey of India, India Post, Indian Railways and the Food Corporation of India.

Kishan Reddy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target to fill up 10 lakh Central government jobs and as a part of this endeavour, around 70,000 to 80,000 appointment letters are being handed over to the youth.
