Holding the TRS responsible for throwing the state into the process of elections, he said it was high time they refrained from doublespeak.
Hyderabad: TDP national general secretary E. Peddi Reddy said the TRS which had advanced the polls by nine months was wriggling out of the challenges thrown by dissidents. He said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao wanted to organise 50 Ashirwad meetings before he went for elections but there turned out to be a deluge of dissidents. He said the TRS had failed on all fronts and had no moral right to seek the votes of the people of Telangana.
Holding the TRS responsible for throwing the state into the process of elections, he said it was high time they refrained from doublespeak.
He accused the TRS of spreading lies on the TDP tie-up with the Congress and reminded irrigation minister Harish Rao of the AP State Reorganisation Act ,2014 section 94 (1) which clearly states “that the Centre shall take appropriate fiscal measures, including offer of tax incentives, to the successor States, to promote industrialisation and economic growth in both the states”.
He said the TRS failed to secure the interests of the state by bringing pressure on the Centre.
