Governor Abdul Nazeer Seeks Blessings at Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala

Tirupati: Governor of Andhra Pradesh, S. Abdul Nazeer, along with his family and entourage, offered prayers at the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala on Sunday.

Upon their arrival at the Maha Dwaram, the Governor and his family were received by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, executive officer A.V. Dharma Reddy, JEO V. Veerabrahmam, and CVSO D. Narasimha Kishore.

Later, the temple priests welcomed the state’s first citizen with the traditional ‘Istikaphal Swagatham’ amid the resonating sounds of Melam, and escorted him to the sanctum sanctorum. The Governor offered prayers inside the sanctum sanctorum and was presented with Sesha Vastram.

After the darshan of the presiding deity, the temple Archakas offered Vedasirvachanam, a religious discourse and blessings, upon Abdul Nazeer and his family members. They were further presented with Srivari theertha prasadams, a laminated photo of Srivaru, 2024 calendars, and diaries from the TTD.
