Hyderabad High Court to hear ED's appeal against Tech Mahindra
Mr Reddy told the court that the ED has registered a case against the Tech Mahindra before the trail court under the PMLA Act.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Monday agreed to hear the appeals by Enforcement Directorate against the Tech Mahindra Ltd, (formerly known as Satyam Computer Services Ltd) and also the petition by Tech Mahindra challenging the proceedings of the ED against it under the under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act in Satyam Computers case on Nov 28.
A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice A Shankar Narayan made this announcement while responding to the special mentions by T. Niranjan Reddy, senior counsel for Tech Mahindra and PSP Suresh Kumar, counsel for the ED to take up the cases pending before it.
Mr Reddy told the court that the ED has registered a case against the Tech Mahindra before the trail court under the PMLA Act and they had challenged the proceedings before the High Court and a single judge of this court has stayed the proceedings.
