YSRC cadre celebrate YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Forty-fifth birthday

He walked for 9.5 kms after cutting the cake in the presence of party cadres till evening and left for Hyderabad to attend court cases.

Anantapur: YSRC chief and leader of the opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday celebrated his 45th birthday at Nallamada during ongoing Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Anantapur district. Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy who was on Day 41 padayatra as part of Praja Sankalpa Yatra stayed at Nallamada cross in Puttaparthi Assembly segment. He walked for 9.5 kms after cutting the cake in the presence of party cadres till evening and left for Hyderabad to attend court cases.

Many party leaders, supporters and party cadres thronged at the place where he halted for the night after completing day 40 of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra. He managed to gather huge support from the masses. People greeted Jagan on his birthday. While cutting a  huge cake brought by a group of party cadres, Jagan reiterated his mission to stand by the people. He also reminded his party workers that Service to Humanity was Service to God.

Service programmes like blood donation camps were held at various places in the two Telugu speaking states besides the overseas wing of the party. People greeted the leader wishing him the best. The padayatra covered Raganipalli, Gopepalli, Ramapuram before reaching Bogallapalli. After the yatra, Mr Jagan went to Hyderabad to attend CBI court on Friday. During his 9.5 kms long paayatra Jagan interacted with people of various sections. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also greeted Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy on his birthday. He  wished him good health.

Vijayawada: The CM’s birthday wishes to the YSRC Chief Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy became a point of discussion in both  parties. The CM conveyed birthday wishes to Jagan through a tweet. The leader of Opposition  thanked the CM, in his retweet. Leaders of both  parties welcomed this move and expressed hope that both CM and leader of opposition would work with a common agenda, in order to address the issues with Centre.

The TD MLC and Whip Mr Budhha Venkanna also responded to the CM’s birthday wishes to Jagan by expressing his wish that Mr. Jagan would walk in a correct path. “May God bless you with a happy and healthy life,” the Chief Minister tweeted and conveyed birthday wishes to Jagan. The leader of opposition in his retweet thanked the Chief Minister, by stating, “Pleasant surprise andi. Thank you”.

This development broughtmixed response from both the political parties. While, TD leaders felt that Jagan on his birthday, got blessings from seasoned politician, YSRC leaders were sceptic. Former MLA and YSRC leader Malladi Vishnu termed the CM’s tweet as the part of the TD’s ongoing conspiracies against Jagan. “The wishes didn’t come from the heart of Mr. Naidu, they just came from his lips,” Mr. Malladi Vishnu observed and added that CM does not generally honouring leader of Opposition.
