Hyderabad: Health department employees like physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and paramedical staff working in Andhra Pradesh but have not been posted back to TS are a frustrated lot. This is because, more than 100 employees from AP are still working here.

These 100 employees have not been posted back to AP by the Kamalnathan committee as they had stated that they have been wrongly posted to AP. Mr J Rajender, president of Telangana medical and health gazetted officers association explained, “The employees from AP have objected to being in AP service, and sought shift to TS on the basis of wrongly submitted certificates, or spouse factor, children studying in TS etc, due to which their posting have continued here. We have asked the government to speed up the process as our employees are working in Vijaywada, Guntur and other areas and they need to be deputed here in TS, in the place of AP employees who should move out.”

The employees from TS working in AP have to be deputed to the state according to the available vacancies or creation of additional posts. They are approaching the TMHGOA and demanding a speed-up of the process so that they can come back to the home state. The association has asked the Kamalnathan committee to clear the objections.
