10 Telangana officials get IAS tag

Hyderabad: The Centre on Monday conferred IAS status on 10 civil service officers of the Telangana state government.

Notifying the conferment, the Centre said that the selection committee had observed that as per the eligibility list submitted by the state government no officers were eligible for consideration against the vacancies of 2014. 

Conferred IAS officers for 2015 are Korra Lakshmi (archeological department), K. Dharma Reddy (Medchal).

For 2016, Chittem Lakshmi (on leave), T. Vinay Krishna Reddy (Khammam), Ch. Sivalingaiah (Nirmal), V. Venkateswarlu (Sangareddy), M. Hanumantha Rao, (Gajwel Development Authority),  D. Amoy Kumar (Bhupalpally), K. Hymavathi (sub-collector), and M. Haritha (Warangal).

The Centre said the recommendations are subject to the outcome of writ petitions filed against the orders passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal Hyderabad bench in cases filed by Ms A. Vani Prasad, Ms V. Karuna and Ms M. Prashanti.
