Telangana High Court summons civic body principal secretary

Hyderabad: Annoyed that the Municipal Administration department has not responded to notices issued a year ago, Justice A. Rajashekara Reddy of the Telangana  High Court on Friday summoned Aravinda Kumar IAS, principal secretary, Municipal Administration, to appear personally before the court, by issuing Form-1 Notice for not implementing its order in a service matter. The court was dealing with a contempt petition a public health worker at the GHMC, who has been made to run around for regularisation of his service, even three years after the HC directed the Municipal department to regularise his service.
