Watch: Yogi Adityanath gets emotional when asked about Pulwama attack
Yogi was interacting with engineering students in Lucknow where he was asked about government's action to combat terrorism.
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath got emotional and shed tears while speaking about the martyrs of Pulwama terror attack.
During an interaction with engineering students in Lucknow, the chief minister was asked about the steps being taken by the Modi-led government to combat terrorism.
In response, Yogi said, "We received some inputs on links to the Pulwama incident based on which we carried an operation Thursday night. Terrorism's final days are coming and Modiji will ensure that terrorism will end in the country,"
Yogi asserted that terrorism will be eliminated from the country under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
Further, he said that terrorism cannot be tolerated and must be eliminated soon. He also affirmed that Pakistan will be given a befitting reply.
Yogi Adityanath also applauded the swift action of security forces after the Pulwama attack and killed the conspirator within 48 hours.
He also spoke about the operation in Uttar Pradesh by the state Anti-Terrorism Squad where it arrested several students including two suspected terrorists linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Yogi Adityanath's comments received loud applause from the audience and meanwhile when he waiting for the next question, CM was seen shedding tear.

On 14 February 2019, a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber at Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The attack took the life of 40 CRPF personnel. Pakistan-based JeM took the responsibility of dastardly terror attack.
