UP MIM workers criticise Asaduddin Owaisi, quit
The MIM leadership in Hyderabad has claimed that none of the party's workers have resigned.
Hyderabad: Several workers of the MIM in Uttar Pradesh are believed to have resigned from the party after its debacle in the recent Assembly elections soon after Yogi Adityanath Yogi was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state. However, the MIM leadership in Hyderabad has claimed that none of the party's workers have resigned from the party and the party base is intact in UP.
This is in sharp contrast to a video clip going viral on WhatsApp in which some persons, who claim that they were MIM workers and leaders, saying that they have resigned from the party. The video shows these leaders and workers accusing MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi of indulging in anti-national agenda during his election campaign and misguiding.
The MIM workers also accuse Mr Owaisi of trying to divert the youth from growth. They claimed that Hindu-Muslim unity is the only way to develop the nation and accuse the MIM of trying to divide the two communities not only in UP, but also in other states. They also alleged that there is no discipline in the MIM.
