Telangana: Light rain set to give relief from heat
Heat wave warning has been withdrawn across all districts of Telangana.
Hyderabad: Heat wave warning has been withdrawn across all districts of Telangana. The general forecast for the state, issued on Saturday, is “Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at isolated places. The maximum temperatures likely to be above normal by 2 to 4 degrees and the same are likely to be above 42 degrees at a few places over Telangana.”
The local weather bureau had forecast a heat wave condition for the third week of April. The entire state witnessed an abnormal rise in temperatures in many districts including Hyderabad, and the maximum temperatures were 4-5 degrees above its normal. However the official website of Indian Meteorological Department—Hyderabad chapter no longer shows any warning for the state. There is no heat wave condition at least till April 27.
On Saturday, dry weather prevailed over the state. The highest maximum temperature of 44 degrees was recorded at Adilabad. While the Hyderabad day temperatures were recorded at 41.2 degrees. The general forecast for the city for Sunday is “Partly cloudy skies”.
