GHMC collects Rs 170 crore under rebate scheme
As many as 2,73,927 property owners paid taxes to the tune of Rs 170.69 crore.

Hyderabad: Against the target of Rs 250 crore, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has collected Rs 170.69 crore under the early bird rebate scheme. Under the scheme, the corporation has been giving a 5 per cent discount to those paying property tax for the current fiscal.
As many as 2,73,927 property owners paid taxes to the tune of Rs 170.69 crore. Of these, 1,07,117 paid online and 9,410 at citizen service centres apart from Mee-Seva and bill collectors.
GHMC commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy said the early bird offer is on till April 30 and the payments can be made at citizen service centres, Mee-Seva and e-Seva centres, online and select bank branches.
