Hyderabad: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay stated that the party's leaders and workers were prepared to face arrest, imprisonment or police assault, and that the party would continue to fight until the "demon, corrupt, family, dictatorial" regime of the BRS government is dethroned and "Rama Rajyam" is established under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah.

Addressing the BJP's 'Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ in Chevella on Sunday, Sanjay stated that if the BJP came to power in Telangana, it would release a job calendar to fill vacancies in government departments, provide free education, free health care and houses to the poor, and that farmers would be saved through the PM Fasal Bima Yojana in the event of crop loss due to natural calamities.

Amit Shah, according to Sanjay, was a "tiger who started hunting in Telangana to save the BJP's 'karyakartas' from the dictatorial rule of the BRS."

Sanjay detailed his recent detention in the SSC exam paper leaks case to Shah, saying, “I was shifted in a police vehicle from one district to another at night for eight hours. I was taken to Siddipet, Gajwel, Bhongir, Yadagirigutta, among other locations. After I crossed Karimnagar, my wife called me to inform me that she received a call from Delhi. At one point, the constables who accompanied me were worried. They told me that they didn't know where I was headed to and expressed fear. Then I told them not to be worried. I told them that a tiger from Delhi made a phone call. He started hunting to save me. The same tiger has now landed in Chevella."

Sanjay's comment evoked a thunderous applause and massive response from the people who raised ‘Jai Bandi Sanjya anna’ and ‘Jai Sri Ram’ slogans.

Accusing Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of becoming an “obstructor of development,” Sanjay said, "The Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre is working with commitment for the development of Telangana. But KCR is obstructing the development by not cooperating with the Centre."
