GHMC holds meet to strengthen I-T department
Upgradation will be done on the existing technology in a way that the citizens will have more clarity vis-a-vis the civic services.
Hyderabad: A special meeting was held at the GHMC office on Monday to discuss measures to strengthen the I-T department of GHMC by updating the present system for the convenience of the citizens.
Upgradation will be done on the existing technology in a way that the citizens will have more clarity vis-a-vis the civic services. This would increase public access and serve as a grievance redressal platform.
The GHMC app, which is widely used, will also be updated for transparency regarding issues such as online payments, trade licence, mutations etc.
The CGG has been advised to update the GHMC website on a priority basis. With the help of the updated website, GHMC plans to involve NGOs in taking up social responsibilities that will benefit the general public.
