GHMC set to introduce one-way system at KBR Park Junction

Hyderabad: The GHMC is set to introduce a one-way system at the KBR Park Junction on a temporary basis.
The Municipal body authorities and traffic police officials have been studying one-way traffic near KBR Park Junction in Jubilee Hills.
The proposal is to make KBR a one way — from LV Prasad Eye Hospital to Cancer Hospital, further on to TRS Bhavan, leading to the Film Nagar junction, all the way to Jubilee Hills Checkpost. A trial run will be carried out in the next few days.
GHMC mayor Bonthu Rammohan said that over 2.5 lakh vehicles pass through KBR Park stretch each day, releasing over 109.72 tones of carbon dioxide. According to him, the one-way system will not only reduce traffic but increase average speed in the city.
