Mysuru: The seventh additional district and sessions’ court on Monday reserved the judgement on bail plea of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s aide, K Marigowda, for August 25.

When the third JMFC Court of Mysuru dismissed the bail plea of Marigowda, his advocate filed a plea in the seventh additional district and sessions’ court. Marigowda, who was absconding    after the incident, had surrendered on August 3. The third JMFC Court had remanded him to judicial custody till August 16, following which he was lodged in the central prison here. On Saturday, the third JMFC Court further extended his judicial custody till September 1. His plea for anticipatory bail, filed in the seventh additional district and sessions’ court, was rejected on July 13. Later, he moved the high court on August 2, but was told to approach the lower court.
