Hyderabad: Cabbie robbed of his vehicle
According to Narsingi Inspector G.V. Ramana Goud, Yadaiah, driver of cab (TS 07 UC 3715), was registered with Sky Cabs.
Hyderabad: A cab driver of the city was reportedly robbed of his car by two persons who boarded his vehicle on Saturday night. The cabbie complained to the Narsingi police that the duo had threatened him with a knife before driving away in his car.
According to Narsingi Inspector G.V. Ramana Goud, Yadaiah, driver of cab (TS 07 UC 3715), was registered with Sky Cabs. On Saturday night, while driving through Gachibowli junction, he picked up two passengers who wanted to be dropped at Narsingi.
When the cab reached TSPA at around 10 pm, the passengers asked Yadaiah to drop them near PEBL City and directed him into a poorly lit lane. There, they threatened him at knifepoint and drove away with the cab. Yadaiah then approached the Narsingi police who have registered a complaint.
The Narsingi Inspector said teams have been formed to work on the clues about the route taken by the suspects who are absconding.
