Mullapally Ramachandran comes down on Pinarayi, Modi
\"Modi had told him then, 'this is not my office but your home.' They were soft-pedalling and playing hide and seek,\" Mr Mullapally said.
Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president Mullapally Ramachandran has flayed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vija yan for attacking the Union government during his recent visit to the UAE to seek funds from Malayali expatriates to rebuild Kerala. "Pinarayi Vijayan's comments against the centre were unwarranted," he said and added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also had shamed the state's leaders while touring abroad.
"Both Pinarayi and Modi are birds of the same feather. Something had gone wrong between them because they had established a good rapport when they met in New Delhi recently," he said.
"Modi had told him then, 'this is not my office but your home.' They were soft-pedalling and playing hide and seek," Mr Mullapally said.
He also criticised the LDF government for filing criminal cases against AICC general secretaries Oommen Chandy and K. C. Venugopal on the basis of the complaints of con-woman Saritha S. Nair.
