Nandakanan gets 8 yellow anacondas
The zoo authorities said the new guests include four female yellow anacondas and three female Nile crocodiles.

BHUBANESWAR: There is a good news for wildlife lovers in Odisha as the Nandankanan Zoological Park on Tuesday brought three Nile crocodiles and eight yellow anacondas from Madras Crocodile Bank Trust, Chennai.
The zoo authorities said the new guests include four female yellow anacondas and three female Nile crocodiles.
The reptiles were brought in special vehicles at the zoo at around 5:30 pm on Tuesday. “The animals will be first kept at Reptile Park in the zoo premises for some days. Later the reptiles will be kept for public display,” the authorities added.
With addition of these new reptiles, the total number of species at zoological park goes up to 158.
