Kerala: Ophthalmic surgeons meet from Friday

The venue has been named after Dr Mohandas, one of the first eye specialists in the district.

Kollam: The 44th annual conference of Kerala society of ophthalmic surgeons (KSOS), Drishti, will be held at Hotel Raviz in Kollam on November 24-26. Over 1,000 eye specialists are expected to attend the meet that is being hosted in Kollam after an interval of 30 years. The venue has been named after Dr. Mohandas, one of the first eye specialists in the district. Over 100 eye-disease related papers dealing with latest trends in eye treatment, handling of modern treatment equipment, use of laser in treatment, and cornea replacement will be presented at the convention.
