CU-AP offering one-year Sanskrit course
University Provides Materials, Offline Course at ₹1,500 Till May 15, Online Exam, CSU Certificate
Anantapur: The non-formal Sanskrit Education Centre at the Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CU-AP) at Anantapur is offering a one-year Sanskrit Language Certificate Course.
Announcing this, CU-AP vice chancellor Prof. S.A. Kori said on Wednesday that the course is being run by the Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi. Those who are 15 years of age and above, whether students, teachers, retired teachers, industrialists, advocates, engineers, journalists and social workers, can learn Sanskrit language very easily by taking up the course.
Classroom teaching materials and exercise books will be provided by the university. The fee for the course, which will be conducted entirely offline till May 15, is ₹1,500. After completion of the course, an examination will be conducted online. On passing the examination, the candidate will be awarded a certificate by CSU, New Delhi.

Students will be taught simple Sanskrit reading, conversation, pronunciation, verse and stotra reading, Sanskrit story-telling and singing, and so on. Classes will be conducted for an hour per day thrice a week at the CU-AP on JNTU Road, Chinmayanagar, Anantapur.
