Cockfights will be allowed for 3 days in Andhra Pradesh

KAKINADA: AP Deputy Chief Minister N. Chinarajappa said on Friday that cockfights would be allowed for three days during Sankranti.

While stating that the government would honour all the laws, the deputy CM insisted, “At the same time, we should also respect traditions.”

He said that the government would not be violating any laws if it allows cockfights without betting and without tying of knives or allowing organisers to use cruel methods.
