No visitors allowed at Telangana ERC meet

Hyderabad: TS Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) banned direct visit of any officer or staff by public.

Instructions to all staff, officers and security personal were issued and no visitor was allowed to discuss any issue with the officer concerned in his chamber. Visitors should not be allowed to move around in the office.

Officers were expected to meet visitors in the conference hall or in the court hall. Every visitor to the office of the commission had to make an entry in the register with the security guard. If a visitor after meeting the officer concerned intended to meet another official, he would have to go through the same process.

ERC said the procedure did not apply to officials of Disco-ms, TS Genco and Transco and any person authorised by the chairman and members.
