RSS demands probe into JNTU recruitments
The government has ignored the services and qualifications of in-service regular employees for appointment as assistant professors.
Kurnool: Alleging gross violation in faculty recruitment in JNTU affiliated colleges in Kalikiri and Pulivendula, Rayalaseema Rashtra Samithi (RRS) president Kunchi Venkata Subba Reddy has demanded for a Judicial inquiry to probe the irregularities.
Speaking to media persons at Kadapa on Wednesday, he said that JNTU Vice Chancellor S. Srinivas Kumar had allegedly collected huge amounts of money, after promising faculty jobs.
He said that APPSC has conducted a written test for recruitment of assistant professors in various universities in Andhra Pradesh.
The government has ignored the services and qualifications of in-service regular employees for appointment as assistant professors. He demanded 20 per cent posts to be given to in-service regular employees. He cited the practice in Polytechnic colleges and urged the Governor to address the problem.
