NEET result 2017: 5 transgender students secure qualifying marks

Hyderabad: Five of the eight transgender students who had registered for Neet secured qualifying marks according to data released on Friday. 

Of the 6,41,839 girls who wrote Neet, 3,45,313 qualified, logging a success percentage of 56.44 per cent. Among boys, it was 43.51 per cent, 

2,66,221 of the 4,73,305 who took the test qualifying. Thirteen of the 22 students who got ranks between 11 and 100 were girls, though the topper in the two states was a boy, Lakkimsetti Arnav Thrinath.
