Warangal: Condemning the rape and murder of a nine-month-old baby in Hanamkonda on June 19, National OBC Commission member Talloju Achary said that the panel would do everything to ensure that the case is put on the fast track.

“My visit is intended to help the family. I will report the details of the case to state government and the Centre and urge them to set up a fast-track court. When a similar incident took place in Madhya Pradesh, the accused was sentenced to punishment within one month,” Mr Achary said.
He said that the guidelines of the amended Criminal Procedure Code can be applied in this case. "It is our responsibility to ensure that such incidents do not recur,” he said adding that the family will be provided a 2BHK in Hyderabad.
