Hosur boy scores top Neet rank
It is a matter of pride for Hosur because of a boy who topped the list for the MBBS admission.
Krishnagiri: The Supreme court's order to make medical college admission based on the ‘Neet’ may be a blow for Tamil Nadu that battled for exemption, but it is a matter of pride for Hosur because of a boy who topped the list for the MBBS admission.
On Wednesday, the house of R.Rangarajan on Tank street in Hosur of Krishnagiri district was teeming with guests who came to greet his 18-year-old son R. Santosh, who scored 656 marks to become the state topper in 'Neet'.
However, the boy is not interested to get admission join in any medical colleges because Santosh has already joined JIPMER medical college and now stays in Puducherry.
‘Aspirants can easily clear Neet'
His father Rangarajan working as a private doctor in Hosur said, “we are much happy about the result, but this will not benefit my son who already got admission in the JIPMER medical college-Puducherry”.
Santosh when contacted over phone during the lunch break said, “I studied in a private CBSE medium school in Hosur till tenth standard and completed plus-2 at a private school in Bengaluru”.
He continued, “I had been to a center that coach people for NEET and also did lots of home work to clear the examination.”
According to Santosh, NEET is not that tough as told by others. Any person who really wishes to join MBBS can easily clear the examinations.
Besides NEET, Santosh also appeared for ‘JIPMER entrance test’ for MBBS in which he bagged the 86th rank and got admission in ‘JIPMER college-Pondicherry’.
