Hyderabad: 2 runaway kids from Krushi Homes found

The three children caught a train from Medchal and Venkatesh abandoned them enroute. Venkatesh's whereabouts are unknown.

Hyderabad: Two out of the three boys, who had gone missing from Krushi Homes, Medchal on Saturday were found by the Railway Police, Mahabubnagar, wandering inside the station. The two children were later identified to be SK Ghouse, 10 and Narendra,11. 

Ghouse and Narendra claimed they had left the home on the persuasion of Venkatesh who told them that there were better homes than their current one. Venkatesh convinced them with stories about a great home for children in Vijaywada. 

The three children  caught a train from Medchal and Venkatesh abandoned them enroute. Venkatesh’s whereabouts are unknown. 

Special Inspector Naidu said, “The children were found wandering in the railway station and the Childline was notified. The two boys were further traced to be S.K. Ghouse and Narendra. Based on new information, investigation has already begun in Vijaywada to locate Venkatesh”. 

The two boys were taken back to Krushi Homes and the home in-charge, Vengal Rao, said, “The boys are resting and are safe at the home. They were coaxed into leaving by Venkatesh but will soon go back to their daily schedules once the weariness and shock from the ordeal wears off.”
