Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC Sabarimala march from November 9
Mr Sudhakaran alleged that the LDF Government is having a secret agenda to defame the Sabarimala temple and the traditions.
Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC working president K. Sudhakaran maintained that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's stand to portray devotees as criminals shows the challenge he has posed before them. Sudhakaran was talking to reporters at Indira Bhavan along his colleague, Kodikunnil Suresh. The two working presidents also informed that the protest march with the slogan, ‘down with communism, victory for belief’ on the Sabarimala issue will be kicked off on November 9 to culminate at Pathanamthitta on November 15.
Mr Sudhakaran alleged that the LDF Government is having a secret agenda to defame the Sabarimala temple and the traditions. He lamented that the CM is adding fuel to fire instead of bringing down the sentiments of the devotees. He also said that the CM is resorting to highlight the isolated violence that had happened in Sabarimala.
“Only a dangerous mind can come up with the theory to defame the glory of the Sabarimala temple. Instead of handling the Sabarimala issue peacefully, the CM aggravated it further", said Mr Sudhakaran.
KPCC working president Kodikunnil Suresh alleged that Pinarayi is firm in his stand on Sabarimala despite the Supreme Court also realizing that there were issues. He also said that CM is ignorant about temple rituals and the rituals and traditions are being decided by the Sabarimala tantri and not by the Travancore Devaswom Board.
