Khammam: Transport minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, visited Khammam on Wednesday and behaved as if the RTC strike was not a big issue for him.

He has never commented publicly on the strike and on Wednesday told officials to complete development works as early as possible. He reviewed the city sanitation plan, green action plan, 30-day village action plan, lifting of paddy from centres, Mission Bhagiratha and DBR housing, but said not a word on the ongoing RTC strike.

“The 30-day village action plan improved the gram panchayats in a big way and it is time to take up work in urban areas,” he said.
