K Chandrasekhar Rao to move to new house today
K. Chandrasekhar Rao will move to his vastu-compliant camp-office-cum-residential complex in Begumpet on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will move to his vastu-compliant camp-office-cum-residential complex in Begumpet on Thursday. The house-warming ceremony has been scheduled for 5.22 am and will be held in the presence of Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.
The new complex, Pragathi Bhavan, has five buildings which house the CM’s residence, office and conference hall and has a built-up area of over 1 lakh sq. ft.
The complex is spread over 9 acres and estimated to have cost Rs 50 crore. It was built in eight months after the foundation was laid on Ugadi in March this year.
The conference hall will serve as a meeting place of the CM with officials and people and is named Janahita. Mr Rao and his wife Shobha will perform Daiva Pravesam, Yati Pravesam, Go Pravesam and related ceremonies. An all-religion prayer will be held.
