Andhra Pradesh boys score over Assam

Visakhapatnam: The AP Junior Boy's national team has entered the semi-finals of BC Roy National Football Championship, outplaying Assam 1-0 on Friday at Rajkot.
Right from the time the match started, the Assam team struck well but Andhra Pradesh team put up a good defence. V. Kanakaraju (Jersey No: 4, Visakhapatnam) and goalkeeper P. Sai Sampath Raju (Jersey No. 20, East Godavari) played a key role in defending the opponents’ attack.

In the second half, the Assam team was well equipped with strategies to regain control over the match, but the AP players were alert, particularly the goalkeeper was extraordinary. The game turned exciting and thrilling up to the last minute.
