The traffic problem elevated after the vegetable market was shifted from the yard to next to the flower market.
Hyderabad: Following complaints from the public, Asifnagar traffic police has conducted special anti-encroachment drive in three places near Gudimalkapur market and booked six cases.
Speaking to this newspaper one of the complainants, Y. Rajesh, a resident of Gudimalkapur, said, “The traffic problem is very severe in the morning on the Gudimalkapur market road which is a very narrow street. Many times school buses got stuck in the traffic during exam times. The traffic problem elevated after the vegetable market was shifted from the yard to next to the flower market.”
Rajesh said that though there is parking space in the flower market, many drivers are recklessly parking their vehicles on the main road choking the vehicular movement. He added that the residents were happy with the special drive.
