Sugar level up, sreenivasan hospitalised

Kochi: Actor and film maker Sreenivasan has been admitted in a private hospital in Kochi following variations in blood sugar and creatine level.

Vineeth Sreenivasan in a Facebook post, meanwhile, denied reports that appeared in a section of media that his father has suffered a stroke. He appealed to people not to spread misleading reports through the social media outlets.   

A spokesman of the hospital told this newspaper on Wednesday that the actor is under observation in the medial intensive care unit. The sugar and creatine levels are high and he would be shifted to a room or discharged after sugar and creatine reaches the normal levels.

The actor was admitted to the hospital on Monday night. Terming his condition as stable the hospital spokesman also said visitors are restricted for the time being on seeing him.
