Telangana: Staff at RTC hospital hold protest

Employees and workers from the corporation on Friday held a protest at the premises of the hospital at Tarnaka.

Hyderabad: Opposing the decision to  privatise of RTC Hospital’s pharmacy, employees and workers from the corporation on Friday held a protest at the premises of the hospital at Tarnaka.

The leader of TSRTC Staff and Workers’ Federation V.S. Rao, Ch. Ramchander, A.V. Rao, G.R. Reddy and others said that the corporation developed the hospital from a dispensary to super speciality over the decades but the present management was planning to hand it over to private firms in a phased-manner.
