Heat wave to continue till month-end: Met

On May 29, the city is likely to witness a thunderstorm.

Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department and weather app Accuweather have announced heat wave conditions for the the city till the end of May. On May 29, the city is likely to witness a thunderstorm (of unknown intensity) but warm days will continue until June 2. Heat wave conditions are also very likely to prevail at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Medak, Nalgonda and Khammam.

On May 24 (Tuesday), heat wave conditions prevailed in Karimnagar district of Telangana State. There was no substantial change in maximum temperatures as they were appreciably above normal at one or two places. The highest maximum temperature of 450C was recorded at Ramagundam. The city too recorded above normal temperatures with  the maximum reading on May 24 at 410C. Accuweather states that from May 24 to June 2 the forecast will remain at very sunny, warm day with partly cloudy.
