Hyderabad: The Telangana government is understood to have agreed to give two to three years time to private colleges to comply with specified norms. But there will be no break in the vigilance inspections being carried in various private institutions in the state at present. CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao vowed to improve quality of education and for that purpose, he said bogus institutions should be weeded out. He called upon the private managements’ JAC to co-operate with vigilance inspections and spell out shortcomings. “Our intention is not to target institutions but only to improve the quality of education,” he said.
