Awareness session on Swachh Hyderabad
The focus of the group is on disposing waste effectively without harming animals, children or pregnant women.
Hyderabad: With World Environment Day round the corner, citizen groups and GHMC West Zone are joining hands for a Swachh Hyderabad. With a focus on clean and safe homes, an awareness session is being conducted by Connected Communities, a citizens’ group, on how to segregate waste responsibly. Waste, which can be segregated as dry and wet, may be hazardous to health if not handled carefully.
“About 10 communities will be integrated in this session to learn how waste should be segregated while causing the least harm,” a member of the group said.
The focus of the group is on disposing waste effectively without harming animals, children or pregnant women. The session will be held at Aparna Lake Breeze on Saturday, 27th May, and will involve all colonies under the Aparna brand.
