ALAPPUZHA: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has alleged that Congress leader  A.K. Antony was behaving like a man out of his mind.    "Antony should take a list of Congress  men who work for the party during the day  and the BJP during the  night," Mr Vijayan said addressing an election meeting held at Mannar in support of LDF candidate  Saji Cheriyan in  Chengannur. Mr Vijayan was responding to Mr Antony's comment that the LDF government was trying to appease the BJP.

Mr Vijayan   claimed that his government has brought about many developments in the state which none had expected.  "I could not believe what Antony said as I thought a leader like Antony would not say so. Now I think he is out of his mind," Mr Vijayan said and added the Opposition was playing the communal card to hide the developments taking place in the state.

CPM general secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan alleged that Mr Antony had sought the BJP support to win the Chengannur poll. The latest statement of Antony was  proof of that, he  said.     "Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala had said that the Congress did not require RSS votes while Antony said they require their votes," Mr Kodiyeri said and added  that the UDF candidate was fielded to appease the RSS.
