Asaduddin Owaisi blames Islamophobia for lynching
Owaisi said that the people who are spreading Islamophobia were responsible for all incidents in which Muslims are being killed.
Hyderabad: AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday strongly condemn the killing of a Muslim teenager in a train in Delhi and said that the lynching was an indication of the spread of ‘Islamophobia’ in the country.
Speaking to reporters here, Mr Owaisi said that “It was unfortunate that a teenager who had recently completed his Quran memorisation course and was returning home after shopping for Id was killed by a group.”
He said that the people who are spreading Islamophobia were responsible for all incidents in which Muslims are being killed in the name of cow or religion.
Replying a question on the lynching of Deputy Superintendent of Police Ayub Pandith in Srinagar on the night of Shab-e-Qadr, the MP said he saw no difference between the people who lynched the cop and those who are killing people in the name of cow.
