Display of TTD jewels on June 28

The TTD chairman said the TTD board meeting will be held on June 26 to finalise the modalities.

The TTD had been requesting the Centre to grant exemption from the GST as the institution is service based.

ANANTAPUR: TTD chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav said all ornaments of Lord Venkateswara will be displayed in presence of media on June 28.

He said all the jewellery was safe, and denied the allegations being made by former TTD chief priest Dr A.V. Ramana Deekshitulu that some of the items were missing.

The TTD chairman said the TTD board meeting will be held on June 26 to finalise the modalities.

Speaking to mediapersons here after being felicitated by the Yadava Sangham of Anantapur district, the TTD chairman said the board was protecting ornaments and jewellery of Lord Venkateswara since 1950. He said Dr Deekshitulu’s allegations were baseless.
