Hyderabad: A Rachakonda traffic cop has taken to songs to educate the violators of the MV Act.

A video of Anjapally Nagamallu, an inspector with the Rachakonda traffic, went viral on Monday, in which he was seen singing a song to create awareness to motorists about road safety and ill-effects of drunk driving.

Nagamallu is currently posted as LB Nagar inspector (traffic). The inspector, who believes in spreading awareness through songs, has sung a song on the ill-effects of using a mobile phone while driving vehicles, road accidents, drunk driving and other road safety issues.

“An awareness progr-amme was held for about 110 persons, who work as delivery boys at LB Nagar junction. I believe that songs or plays are more effective in creating awa-reness. I am contributing my part for the betterment of society,” said Nagamallu, who recently wrote a song advising people to admit theirkids to government schools.
